I finished that gosh-foraken re-charter. Scouts has got to be the refiner's fire of callings...and this is just Cubs, people! (And don't tell the Bishop or EQ president I said that.) Pack meeting is checked off the list. It was perhaps not a success (I can never tell and don't wish to think about it for even half a second once it is over) but it's the best I got and will have to do.
Ethan's sprained ankle seems to be healing. So yay for the fact that this isn't gonna be that one time I don't take him in to the doctor and he has to hobble around on a broken ankle til' my mom or somebody intervenes! His science project has also been turned in. Faith's is due in a few more days. Harris is going through a phase where he cries about absolutely everything. I. mean. everything. I worry cuz for Spring Break my mom wants to take him and Luke to Alabama with her to visit family and I think a super-cry-y kid is a real buzz-kill. We shall see.
I am so glad today is over. I will be having at least of one each of the following tomorrow:
A nap
A twinkie
A true-crime-a-thon
Goodnight peeps.
Oh, let me dig up a picture. Oh yes, here we are.

I hate the recharter!! So glad you made it through. Have a few Twinkies for me.
What is it about twinkies? How is it that they make life so much greater? You totally deserve to take a little break.
You never have to worry if what you have to offer is enough. Ours is a church run by VOLUNTEERS! You did your best and you demonstrated love. Nuff said.
Pack Meeting was great! The boys loved it. The parents loved it. We all loved it. And the caramel popcorn was de-lish.
So...move on to the next science project because Pack Mtg...CHECK!
Eat a few twinkies for me, too. Sorry about the scout recharter. I had a love/hate relationship with cub scouts when I was in it a few years ago. Bless your soul.
Come see the baby! That'll help you feel better. Holding a sweet little 8 lb. bundle of newborn smell that you helped to come timely into this world. :)
