In our neverending quest to fix up the house, we often differ (me and J) on what project should get our attention next. We both agree, for once. It is the office. We already have the wall treatment which is a plaster kind of business with gold paint and glaze all over it. Jared did all that without my consent or permission, and while it's not really my style, I'm fine with it and am grateful for all of the work he put into it. Now we are setting out to build a desk. When I say "we" I mean Jared. My contribution is keeping all distractions out of his hair which is harder than it sounds. I'll post updates...which won't be hard since these things take us a long time. We are the Pabsts. We've never been accused of being timely.

It looks beautiful. Your whole house does. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.
I love works in progress! Y'all will make it beautiful with Jared's awesome carpentry skills and your keen sense of style. You know that little room holds a special place in my heart. :)
I've loved everything I've seen that he's done. Lucky girl, you. We still have portions of certain baseboards that we never finished...
Can't believe your Faith is 12 years old!!! Congrats on fixing up the house...we are in the same boat. The updates never seem to end...good luck with them!
Everything the two of you touch turns out amazing. I'm sure the office will be no exception.
ugh! projects DO take forever. can't wait to see pictures.
PS I am not invited to look at Faith's blog. Will you have her add me please!?! Thanks!
I can't wait to see how the desk comes along! I love home improvement projects! We are in the process (soon) of buying a new house. I loved the Martin Luther King post too, so funny!!
