Loves loves loves middles school, and her skinny jeans, and her Maybelline very brown mascara she is now allowed to wear.
Has a sore shoulder from Harris crawling into her cheap, crappy twin sized-bed in the middle of every night.
Is worried because tomorrow they start counting tardies at school and she loves to worry furiously about such things.
Is going to get back to me in a week about whether or not she is comfortable trying out the bus. This may or may not be okay with me too, I'm just not sure, but am willing to try something....anything! Everything bad I know I learned on the bus so we'll see.
Ethan:
As always, is just happy to be alive.
Is upstairs using the electric massager on his sister's sore shoulder. That guy is gonnna be some lucky gal's dream hub one day!
Is proud of the badge, belt loop and pin he earned at Pack meeting tonight.
Is stoked for flag football to start. Let the love affair between his dad and him and themselves begin!
Is a little miffed about the impending bang trim that's coming his way.
Harris:
Is fussy, fussy, fussy.
Left school sick today after two attempts to rest it off in the nurse's office, and one dose of Motrin. I finally gave in and took him home with his "headache". My doubt results from his asking "If I had a headache would I have to go to school?" five minutes after waking up this morning.
Is most likely suffering from sleep deprivation. He is refusing to sleep in his own bed and spends most of the night loudly lamenting that that's exactly where I keep returning him...over and over again.
Is excited, however about his NEW BIKE! It is an adaptive bike that I got a grant from a children's charity for since they are far from cheap and I am far from rich.
Jared: Is waiting for me with a movie and a pizza.
Liz: Is ready for the movie and the pizza.
Goodnight!

Love Harris' new bike. And you're lookin HOTT in that picture too, btw. So skinny.
P.S. Everything naughty I know I learned on my middle school bus. I get ya there.
I was just thinking you're looking hot, and Alisha beat me to it. That Alisha. :P
Also, cool bike! Hope you enjoyed the pizza! The bus is a big step. It was scary for me because once I got stuck (we moved a lot and i wasn't sure which one was my stop--I rode until the end and they had to call my mom to come get me from the bus barn), so give her some time, but sounds like it's going well.
Well, Wednesday's over. Good job! Now, on to Thursday. Now, go get me a Coke! (JK. Sorta. No, really. Unless you are going.)
I'm so glad Harris was able to get his bike -so cool!! My kids ride the bus and I worry about the same things, but there is just not enough time in the day for me to drive to school 4 times. I already have to take Devon to Cross Country at a ridiculous hour in the morning and pick up Riley from football in the evening. If I had to add in the other 2 trips, that's all I would be doing, so I just hold my breath and hope that they're smart enough to ignore the stuff on the bus!! I'm sure Faith will do great!
Hey miss skinny minny - you look amazing.
And that's a way cool bike for Harris.
Now you've made me REALLY paranoid about the bus. JAckson is planning to ride it for kindergarten. Too young??
I love the bike!!! And you do look absolutely gorgeous (as always).
THE BIKE!!!! I am so happy for Harris and for you!!!! Congrats on your awesome grant writing.
i love hearing about your kids and how they're growing up. it makes me excited for what my life will be like when my kids get older and their little personalities emerge more and more. good luck keeping pace with them!
I am soooooo happy for Harris and his new bike! Does he love it?
Where I currently am with Miss Libby Barker:
Mommy, "No offense, but are you going to walk me to school again today?"
"No, I was just gonna walk you half way down the street."
"Good."
It's coming. Before you know it, she is going to be completely allergic to me.
