This week I have to:
-finish getting all three kiddos ready for school. Supplies, clothes, haircuts, a new bedtime, a father's blessing, an ability to wake up before 9 a.m....you get the idea.
-attend my first PTA meeting (tomorrow) of which I am the secretary. (I am supposed to be typing up an agenda right now!)
-get kids to scouts and activity days in three different locations on two different days with, depending on the kid, a life jacket, pedigree chart, or snack to share in hand.
-get Harris to two different therapies on two different days in two different locations at a time that, when school starts in a week, will never work because it falls right in between the elementary and middle school pick-up times, both of which apply to me (eek!) Why I agreed to this new schedule I'll never understand.
-Cancel one of Harris' therapies for good...it's just too much!
-Get the boys to the school to see who their teachers will be. They don't post until Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Hope we get good ones!
-Get the boys to the school again for a "meet the teacher".
-Help serve food at the post "meet the teacher" luncheon put on by the PTA, of which I am foolishly a part.
-Make spinach-artichoke dip for my brother's wedding reception.
-Help set-up for my brother's wedding reception.
-Get ready for and attend my brother's wedding reception.
-Help clean up after my brother's wedding reception.
Well, with that, I will resist the temptation to crawl into bed, pull the covers over my face, and hide for a week, and get typing the PTA (of which I am foolishly a part, I think I mentioned that!) agenda. I'll post this pic cuz I hate posts with no pics. Amid all of the above mayhem, perhaps I'll ponder and come up with an answer to why my dishwasher calls me a ho!
Goodnight!

If it weren't for the great love I have for what those wonderful machines do, I think my dishwasher would be going DOWN for that nasty comment ;) Of course, I do overwork mine and it would probably feel justified in calling me names.
I feel for you with your super crazy schedule my friend...I pray it all comes together smoothly for you. I actually let picking up Daniel's pre-ordered school supplies get totally forgotten.. ugh!! I felt so bad when he asked me if I got them :( It's pure craziness.. we need just a bit more time! You know you could drop the boys off over here and I could take them to scouts with me so you don't have to worry about them getting to the church.. I could even come get them.
Wow - that made me tired just reading it! And I know you said it a couple of times but I have to agree adding the PTA to your schedule is foolish! I hope everything goes off smoothly for ya and tell that dishwasher to just keep doing it job and stop with the name calling.
Liz, you totally crack me up. Well, first your list totally overwhelmed me and then you left me laughing my guts out at the ho dishwasher.
Good luck with your list. Wish I was there to help.
Doesn't making a list of all that you are required to do somehow make you feel better? I feel better about it all by just reading it! Now that you have emptied your mind of the stressful list you can focus on one item at a time!!
HO--looks like you are being washed AND sanitized!
And FYI, I'm brainstorming for you to see what kind of crazy behavioral stunt you could pull to get yourself KICKED off PTA.
Uh, thanks for visiting me while you were in Utah! Oh wait, you didn't! I see how it is! ;)
WHY ARE YOU IN THE PTA!!!! Sorry about my cyber yelling but I am pretty shocked. You hated it when you were in it before. It sucked up your whole life. Girl your list made me want to hide under the covers and not come out for a week. I am so sorry life is so crazy for you. I wish I could help you with rides or something. Als0, I'm glad you're back safe. I miss you lots.
