Okay, number 1, that is way too much flannel in one photo ;) It looks like there was one rebel couple in the back row wearing t-shirts... oh yeah!! Jared doesn't look overly excited and who is the chicadee he is with??
I was thinking, this has to be a Utah school dance picture... close enough...Idaho! Utah/Idaho Mormons are crazy about their school dances. One must "ask" their potential date out in a creative way and the said potential date must respond in an equally creative way. Fun...but daunting!BTW- Jared's lips give him away every time!
Is that what they wear to prom in Idaho, matching flannel outfits? I love how he is trying so hard to look cool and not smile in his pictures. My brother used to do that too.
That picture is a generic picture of what was going on in the late 80s and 90s. I could have sworn those were people I went to high school with. I know each of the girls with their curly, big hair and almost called them by name. Too funny!! And I just had a student come up to me TODAY and tell me that she had a shipley donut and that didn't I miss them. How bizarre is that!!
How are you. Just checking in. Lost your phone numbers when I switched to a new cell phone. =( I went to call you this am to come over for the "paint selection" and oops...I forgot that your number was lost with the old phone. Hope you are ok.
If you look very very closely, you will see that the boy in the middle...with the girl in his lap who has the teddy bear in her lap...has a ring pop on his pinky finger. Awesome. Nothing says dance night accessory like a ring pop.

And I understand in high school , you gotta work with what's available, but Jared definitely married up. :)

I gotta say, the matching shirt epidemic of the Jello belt is beyond me. And Jared is easy to spot - just imagine him in front of a purple blanket.
Gotta love the monthly themed dances that Utah & Utah Jr. (aka Idaho) are known for. I have some pretty awesome group pictures myself.
