CONFESSIONS

1) I spent $250.00 last night at the new Wal-mart.

2) I haven't been to the dentist since I was 17. (And I'm thirty people!)

3) I took $3.00 in change from Faith's piggy bank to buy a hamburger.

4) I have no intention of paying it back. I figure somehow she owes me.

Anyone else? You can post anonymously!

I know you got a lot more with the 250$ than most people would. For some people that would be a pair of shoes.

Good point dear friend! I did get Faith some winter clothes for her trip to Ohio with my parents.

I once went three years without going to the dentist. I'm sure my dentist was able to pay for his kid's college with what I ended up spending when I finally did go! Bad teeth genes run in my family.

Laura! Do not tell me that!!!!!!!!

Oh my word, my confessions are so much worse than this, like, I haven't cleaned my toilets in three weeks. Not kidding. Or I made double chocolate cookies today and ate 10. Not two, not three but ten. My butt does not need 10 cookies. And finally, my boys still will not quit repeating the swear word I yelled the other day in a fit of frustration. I am a terrible mom.

Hmmm, I just can't bring myself to full confession on a blog comment, it's just too open, I will say that today is payday and I already have NO money left... that's pathetic!! See I went to Sam's a few days ago and the new Walmart yesterday and that's all it took, again, PATHETIC! I also did not go to the dentist for years and years after I got married and when I finally did I had 9 or maybe it was 10 cavities, um, that is pathetic, too, well maybe that is just sad. I had to have them filled in several appointments cuz the poor dentist said my whole mouth couldn't handle being THAT numb! But like Laura said bad teeth genes run in my family, too so I should've known better. In fact, it's been awhile since I've been again cuz I know I have some serious work to be done and I've been avoiding it... I'm a baby!

Man - I'm feeling all virtuous ... I have a dentist appointment on Monday! Won't confess anything, though - that would just ruin it.

Are you people kidding me? Your confessions would be my bragging about how awesome I'm doing.

I went to the dentist when half my tooth broke off while I was eating a soft taco.

I haven't made my bed in at least 6 weeks. I think that time wasn't even me - it was Andy. I don't see the point of making a bed.

I clean my toilets by dumping bleach in there once a month and leaving it until someone flushes.

I wear the same clothes 3-4 days in a row, but that's not a confession - it's common knowledge.
I should probably be more ashamed.

Here's my confessions! (How ironic, since I just made a tv show related confession on my own blog.)

1) I haven't cleaned my shower in...a really long time. My v. least favorite chore.

2) I went over 3 years without going to the dentist, partly because I didn't have insurance, and partly because I'm petrified of dentists. (Blame Steve Martin as the pyscho dentist in Little Shop of Horrors.) Fortunately, the bad teeth sort of skipped me, and I didn't have any cavities.

3) I drank, I don't know, 3 Dr Peppers today?

Yeah, that's good for now.

Liz,

I'm sorry I've worried you about the dentist. It is still important to go. What I did find out is that they are very sweet to you and thank goodness modern medicine has come so far that it really isn't painful to go and you are far better off to start going sometime. It really isn't a terrible experience and I'm sure things will be fine. Again, I'm so sorry if I caused you anxiety, I didn't mean to.

Shel-

I'll go with you :)
