It
is
hot.
I'm ready for fall.
And a new a/c.
But fall is cheaper.

Where we at!
Faith:
Loves loves loves middles school, and her skinny jeans, and her Maybelline very brown mascara she is now allowed to wear.
Has a sore shoulder from Harris crawling into her cheap, crappy twin sized-bed in the middle of every night.
Is worried because tomorrow they start counting tardies at school and she loves to worry furiously about such things.
Is going to get back to me in a week about whether or not she is comfortable trying out the bus. This may or may not be okay with me too, I'm just not sure, but am willing to try something....anything! Everything bad I know I learned on the bus so we'll see.
Ethan:
As always, is just happy to be alive.
Is upstairs using the electric massager on his sister's sore shoulder. That guy is gonnna be some lucky gal's dream hub one day!
Is proud of the badge, belt loop and pin he earned at Pack meeting tonight.
Is stoked for flag football to start. Let the love affair between his dad and him and themselves begin!
Is a little miffed about the impending bang trim that's coming his way.
Harris:
Is fussy, fussy, fussy.
Left school sick today after two attempts to rest it off in the nurse's office, and one dose of Motrin. I finally gave in and took him home with his "headache". My doubt results from his asking "If I had a headache would I have to go to school?" five minutes after waking up this morning.
Is most likely suffering from sleep deprivation. He is refusing to sleep in his own bed and spends most of the night loudly lamenting that that's exactly where I keep returning him...over and over again.
Is excited, however about his NEW BIKE! It is an adaptive bike that I got a grant from a children's charity for since they are far from cheap and I am far from rich.
Jared: Is waiting for me with a movie and a pizza.
Liz: Is ready for the movie and the pizza.

Goodnight!

Goodbye Old Life!

Life is crazy!
Back from Utah. David's wedding was beautiful. Miriam is perfect. Loved it all, except traipsing up and down a mountain where our rental was located. Don't really understand why people pay the big bucks for the inconvenience of living where it is so.....well...inconvenient!
This week I have to:
-finish getting all three kiddos ready for school. Supplies, clothes, haircuts, a new bedtime, a father's blessing, an ability to wake up before 9 a.m....you get the idea.
-attend my first PTA meeting (tomorrow) of which I am the secretary. (I am supposed to be typing up an agenda right now!)
-get kids to scouts and activity days in three different locations on two different days with, depending on the kid, a life jacket, pedigree chart, or snack to share in hand.
-get Harris to two different therapies on two different days in two different locations at a time that, when school starts in a week, will never work because it falls right in between the elementary and middle school pick-up times, both of which apply to me (eek!) Why I agreed to this new schedule I'll never understand.
-Cancel one of Harris' therapies for good...it's just too much!
-Get the boys to the school to see who their teachers will be. They don't post until Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Hope we get good ones!
-Get the boys to the school again for a "meet the teacher".
-Help serve food at the post "meet the teacher" luncheon put on by the PTA, of which I am foolishly a part.
-Make spinach-artichoke dip for my brother's wedding reception.
-Help set-up for my brother's wedding reception.
-Get ready for and attend my brother's wedding reception.
-Help clean up after my brother's wedding reception.
Well, with that, I will resist the temptation to crawl into bed, pull the covers over my face, and hide for a week, and get typing the PTA (of which I am foolishly a part, I think I mentioned that!) agenda. I'll post this pic cuz I hate posts with no pics. Amid all of the above mayhem, perhaps I'll ponder and come up with an answer to why my dishwasher calls me a ho!
