Discoveries

When I woke up this morning at 7 a.m. as usual, and began getting my kids ready for school, I discovered it was actually 6 a.m.

Sweet.

When I went outside to drive the kids to school I discovered what looked like a dead bird/mouse thingy on my front step. Jared came and examined and discovered that it was actually a bat.

Sick.

When I pulled up to the gym and got out to go inside I looked down and discovered that my feet looked like this:

Annoying.

I had to drive all the way home to put on my tennis shoes. I'm happy to report that after doing so I did make it back to the gym, passing the donut shop without stoppping for now, the second time!
Oh, and I'll just save Sarah the trouble by saying that yes, my toes do have a striking resemblance to that of the bat's.

So what did you end up doing with the bat?

Jared threw the bat in the neighbor's bushes. He said it was fertilizer. One more reason to be glad you're not our neighbor.

I hope your neighbor doesn't read your blog! Love your story- quite a busy day!

Eww I hate bats. And I think you have cute feet. Take that as a compliment, because I seriously HATE feet...

I LOVE that he threw it in the neighbors bushes! Horrible! What is wrong with a garbage can?

(Remind me to not live next to you!)

Do you think Spaz actually succeeded in catching something? She's as blind as the bat. haha. Sunny puts a captured bird on our doorstep at least once every 2 weeks... or what's left of the bird.

Too funny that J actually put the bat in the neighbor's yard. If it is such good fertilizer, why not your own bushes? I don't think I will be moving close to you anytime soon.
