Carol's tag!

5 things in your purse:
1. chapstick
2. planner
3. catheters (they are for Harris, but could come in handy in other choice situations!)
4. trash
5. It is worth mentioning that once I found a whole hamburger in my purse! Must have stuck it in there at McD's thinking my kids would eat it later or something! When I found it was like a week old!

5 things in your workroom
I don't have any such thing. I'd prefer never to have a room designated for "work" of any kind.

5 things you always wanted to do:
1. play the harmonica.
2. sky dive
3. be on Fear Factor
4. be the lead singer in a band. I'd like it if I could also jam on the guitar and I'd like it if the band were called "buckets of blood!" I think it should be a country band.
5. teach step aerobics.

5 things you are into:
1. blogging (fo shizzle!)
2. donuts, in a big way.
3. decorating
4. running/working out
5. laughing

5 bloggers you want to tag:
1. laurie
2. jamie
3. mel
4. natalee b. (I'd do Natalee H. too but she has no blog! sniff.)
5. alisha

LOL

So tonight was Girl's Night Out. This is one of the Enrichment Activities our ward offers. It requires almost no commitment. Come if you want, late if you'd like, eat if you feel like it, pay for yourself, leave when you please, say what you feel. Ain't nobody judgin'--no haters allowed.
It is an absolute blast and so I'm thrilled to be the new point person for this activity. This means I email people about where we will meet next (as soon as Jen teaches me how to send out a mass email) and then I let the Enrichment leader know. That's it. I don't even have to go. My kind of job.
When I can sneak away and convince myself that it's worth the work (hygiene) to get there, I never regret it. It fills me up physically, boosts me up emotionally, and best of all, I laugh like crazy.
Tonight was no exception. We met at 9'rs and stayed til' they were sweeping the floor. We ended up touching on several random topics as usual, and also touched a bit on the disturbing and even got to scary. I love all of this biz-nis! It was a blast. So anybody who needs to laugh out loud and be reminded that they are doin' alright in the grand scheme of things (or even doing BETTER than alright) come to our next one! It will be the first Thursday night in February and we will meet at Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Brazos Town Center at seven. The burgers are heavenly, the fries are from Rigby, Idaho (they are the best!) and the company is out of this world. ALL are welcome!! Questions? Call me! I got an answering machine, and yes, it IS plugged in. #281-232-8450

SLEEPY

These meds I'm on make me soooooo sleepy! It's ridiculous! If you have a conversation with me I will yawn the ENTIRE time and it's not because you're boring. I can't read, watch t.v. or even SIT hardly because I'll just pass right out. I can't live like this! Well, actually, I could. I love to sleep and would be pleased as punch to sleep my life away but I think my kids and husband might miss me.....I said might.
Anyway, I have always been pretty sleepy in general, probably a thyroid issue like so many women in my family, or maybe just life, or maybe I'm just a complainer, but nontheless, I always suspected my house had a slow carbon monoxide leak and that was the cause of my fatigue. Even my sisters would come over to visit and within thirty minutes or so they would feel woozy. But then I moved, and....well, the carbon monoxide leak moved with me so.....I'm guessing....no leak.
But this time it's different. It's all out, drug-induced drowsiness (and can I just say while I'm on the subject that "May cause drowsiness" is not a powerful enough warning. I think it should say "Will cause lethargy"). So, I stayed awake long enough to call my drug dealer and he's out (how dare he take a vacation! "Crazy" never goes on vacation!) until the 5th. So I'll call him back then.......I need to go lay down.........just for one..........................
